On this page I have regularly documented what happened to the various phase of buiding during the construction phase.

23.04.2007
A lot has happened. I have built the stairs, two floors with sound insulation, and valves in the dome space. Thus, the entire base available and no one can accidentally on the stairs in the darkness of the night down jumbled ...
The reinforcement we have appropriate by twos on a weekend ! Now we only have to render the plaster, paint and the base. |
 |
27.10.2006
The dome was equipped with a crane lifted to their destination. I have fastened a rope on each ribs. The 16 ropes were then hanged on the crane and went off! After adjusting all the wheels can the dome now almost silently rotated with the hand . Later add on an engine jet. |

The building with peripheral tie beam and the ring of concrete. |
 |
27.07.2006
The last ring of concrete is poured. It is 30cm high and 15cm thick. This will run the 16 roles, leadership roles and the fuse attached to profiles. The dome can also resist the heaviest storm attacks! As you can see, the interior walls have been plastered and with color painted. Nobody will see the many work at the end... ;)

08.07.06
The Column and the peripheral tie beam are ready. On the peripheral tie beam is then still a 30cm high concrete ring on which the dome will run. Reinforcement fastening already seen out of the concrete. |
 |
A view from the top to the "staircase", which is currently still a ladder room! ;) The fast-built freight elevator has saved us a lot of work! |
 |
20.06.2006
The walls and the two floors are finished! 750 Poroton bricks and 2.5 pallets of mortar I have just works up during 4 weeks. Somehow I 'm what missing now ... ;) |

The beam position at the 2nd Floor (dome room). |
 |
03.06.2006
The first floor is done! I have the inserted ceiling stored on 4 beams 120cm x 140cm, first with inexpensive scarf wood nailed. Later come clipboards. For the arches above doors and windows, I have built formwork, which filled then with concrete and reinforcement. Looks very good! :) |
 |
24.05.2006
Now is bricked! Yesterday got 12 pallets Poroton bricks and 2 pallets mortar. I certainly set the first layer . The photo is from this morning, because when I was ready to 11pm, it was already dark. Fortunately I have a head lamp ... The pussycat any case, felt well! |
 |
30.04.2006
Once photographed from above, the scond pieces of column just before the completion. Now we are proud to 4.85 m. Another 1.7 tonnes of concrete mixed by hand, always filled up well-stamped! Fortunately my friend had a grid winch, who the buckets with concret have been electrically drawn up! |
 |
17.04.2006
The 15cm strong base is finished! Previously they were still 10cm gravel filled, so everything has the same level now .
Therefore, all the ground work finished and from now onwards will be built up! But unfortunately there is now a forced break because the concrete still have 14 days to harden. |
 |
14.04.2006
The column is growing! After the casing with 80cm (incidentally, is made of carton!) is sufficiently fixed was 1.3 m³ of concrete mixed and placed into the formwork. |
 |
11.04.2006
Today I have the formwork and the rest of the soil away.
The foundation is now finally finished! As of now is built upward! |
 |
08.04.2006
On the foundation was set up a formwork what the exact dimensions of 4m x 4m is. With a diagonal of 5.66 m to get an exact square. Here we also have made sure that everything has the right height so that the first layer is not to become a test of one's patience! 1 cubic meter concrete with the addition of WU (waterproof) we have mixed. |
 |
03.04.2006
Ready! 8.5 cubic meter = about 20 tons of concrete are in the earth. The inlet pipe has disappeared. |
 |
03.04.2006
The picture was taken shortly before pour in the concrete. You can see the pipe from the mixing vessel. |
 |
03.04.2006
Der Stahl kommt ins Fundament! Das Rohr für
die Zuleitungen liegt in der Erde. |
 |
02.04.2006
Here you can see the outlines yet! Unfortunately, we were unable to dig the strips of the foundation. Parts of the walls collapsed, ...
In the left front ditch is the feeder tube. |
 |
01.04.2006
After a year of planning took place on 1 April 2006 eventual the first ground-breaking (of course with a small excavator)! My once beautiful garden was like a battlefield! ;) Fortunately the weather was mostly good, so we are the rain jackets rarely needed ... |
The two intermediate floors are decoupled from the column. It was bricked massive by 24cm Poroton.
