History :
When I bought my first telescope (an LXD55 8 "Schmidt-Newton) in November 2002, I knew not yet what it would evolve. I thought that I would have been thereby a stable and adequate basis for visual observation. This was so, as long as I am purely visually observed. Anytime it was but so far - I wanted to combine my photography hobby with astronomy. And the troubles have started: the backlash in the axle, wind sensitivity and inaccurate tracking made longer exposure times to a game of pure chance. The desire for a "normal" mount was always greater, which can certainly understand everyone who has ever tried to took a longer exposure!
So I started to design my one mount that at the end should have no problems with 50kg telescope weight. I have the plans and many photos on the next sites. This should not be understood as a 100% construction manual, rather as an incentive, something to plan and to build as a do-it-yourself project. It can be fine adapt on the own needs. Of course I have nothing against if my plans someone wants to take over but only if they are not commercially backgrounds. I would be glad about feedback...
